After you send out an estimate, how often do you follow up with your prospect? Weekly? Once? Never?

If your customer accepts the estimate no more emails will be sent out, but if they don’t they will keep receiving emails from you with content and at intervals that you defined ahead of time. You could try sending the following email a week after the customer receives their estimate.

Hi John,

I am checking in with you to see if you have had a chance to consider our estimate. I know you are probably very busy but if you are thinking of doing the project sometime in the next couple of weeks, I want to make sure that we get you into our schedule.

As always if you have any questions at all about our estimate, please don’t hesitate to ask.

The content of the emails, how often they are sent, and how many are sent are completely up to you. You can try enticing your customer after a few weeks by having a discount offer sent out.

Hi John,

I have not heard back from you in a while and wanted to reach out to you and offer a 10% discount on your project if we can do the work for you in the next 2 weeks.

Please call or email to let me know if you are interested.
