One of the most highly requested features was the ability to use the calendar for scheduling non-job related tasks and the ability to span tasks over multiple days. The calendar also now features drag and drop functionality allowing you to easily schedule and reschedule tasks. We have also introduced color-coding for every employee so you can quickly see at a glance who has scheduled events on the calendar. Along with the calendar, the dashboard has been further refined to make it much easier to see what work needs to be done at a glance. ### Calendar The calendar has been overhauled to allow support for non-project related tasks, drag and drop scheduling, multi day tasks, color-coded employees, expanded calendar views, and more. New Features: - You can now view the calendar by **Day**, **Week**, **Month**, or **6 Week** views. - Each user has their own unique color to identify them on the calendar. - Scheduled dates can now span multiple days. - Calendar events can now me scheduled or rescheduled by dragging and dropping them. - Non project related events can be scheduled by clicking on any empty area on the calendar.   ### New Calendar Layout   ![New Scheduling Features](https://www.estimaterocket.com/hubfs/Estimate%20Rocket-August2019/Images/update_5.jpg)     ### New Scheduling Workflow The process of scheduling appointments has changed slightly from the old way. After you select the schedule button in your project you will be taken to the calendar like before, but now you will have the choice to either click and drag the project to the date or click on the project and manually enter the date manually.   ![New Scheduling Features](https://www.estimaterocket.com/hubfs/Estimate%20Rocket-August2019/Images/schedule1.gif)   ### Dashboard The dashboard features changes that makes it more clear what work needs to be done. When creating a task, any notes that are entered will also show up on the dashboard.   ### Due Date Filters The Dashboard now defaults to the **Today** tab instead of **All**. This puts emphasis on the tasks that need to be done today, while still giving access to overdue and future tasks.   ![New Scheduling Features](https://www.estimaterocket.com/hubfs/Estimate%20Rocket-August2019/Images/update_4.jpg)     ### Projects Projects listed on the dashboard will now display the current task that needs to be completed and the current task notes. The location address will now only display for projects in the Estimate Pending Completion or Work Pending Completion states, making it easier for Estimators and Supervisors to see where they need to go.
